necessary ingredients

  • 4 to 5 carrots (gajar)
  • A cup of milk
  • Half cup sugar
  • Half cup khoya (mawa)
  • 7 to 8 almonds (finely chopped)
  • 8 to 10 raisins (wash)
  • 7 to 8 cashews (finely chopped)
  • 4 to 5 pistachios (finely chopped)
  • 5 cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup Ghee

For decoration


Garnish the carrot pudding with dry fruits and dry fruits.
Method

  • Peel and wash the carrots
  •  Grate it.
  • Now place a pan on the gas. Add milk, add grated carrot and cook on medium flame.
  • Keep stirring the milk and carrots with a big spoon.
  • When all the carrot water gets dry and the milk gets thickened and mixes well, then add sugar and ghee to the carrot and mix it well.
  • After the sugar dissolves, dry it well too.
  • After the carrot is dry, when all its water dries, then mix the khoya in it and mix it.
  • Then add almonds, raisins, cashews, pistachios, and cardamom to the halwa and cook it while stirring it with a spoon on medium flame.
  • Now turn off the gas. Delicious carrot pudding is ready. Now serve hot without delay.
